Culture: Sow in April under glass or cloches, or outdoors in May and June. Prolific, decorative plants thriving in well cultivated soils containing plenty of humus. Regular watering in dry periods will be amply rewarded by a heavy crop of delicious, tender young beans for table and freezing. (12-16 weeks maturity.) Packet sufficient for a double row of approximately 4.5m (15').

Hints: Recommended for freezing. HEALTH BENEFITS: A good source of vitamin C, folate and iron plus fibre. CULINARY TIPS: Some vitamins can be lost so cook for minimum time only.

The best runner bean available. This stock gives very long slender smooth beans. Hard to beat when grown well. Sow in 4" pots in good compost in early May or when all chance of frost as gone. Plant in rows with 8ft supports for them to climb up. Feed well and mulch for heaviest crops.
