Broad Bean Giant Exhibition
Delicious very long podded broad beans, 9 to 10 seeds to a pod. A good stock, pick young for showing. Do not allow to over mature or chocolate spots will mark the pods!

Sow in the spring for summer crops, and in autumn for late spring crops. Sow in 3" pots or modules, alternatively direct into soil at 6" apart all ways. Thin out for very large beans and give support, feed well. Very good flavor and a heavy cropper.

Culture: It is advisable to pinch-out tips of plants when first pods have set to deter blackfly. Packet sufficient for a double row of approximately 3.8m (12½'). (12-16 weeks maturity.)

Hints: Recommended for freezing. HEALTH BENEFITS: A source of vitamins A, C and E, plus protein and fibre.

CULINARY TIPS: Cook pinched-out tips as a tasty alternative to Spinach.
