Runner Bean Gresham Seeds
A high quality bean with quality pods that are long and slender, with scarlet flowers, Runner Bean Gresham is a long and smooth new Runner Bean to crop in the summer and autumn.
Beautiful deep red flowers. Good flavour and excellent for the show bench.
Culture: Sow in 4" pots in good compost in early May or when all chance of frost as gone.
Plant in rows with 8ft supports for them to climb up. Feed well and mulch for heaviest crops.Culture: Sow in April under glass or cloches, or outdoors in May and June. Prolific, decorative plants thriving in well cultivated soils containing plenty of humus. Regular watering in dry periods will be amply rewarded by a heavy crop of delicious, tender young beans for table and freezing. (12-16 weeks maturity.)
